Metlhead, Thanks a bunch for your help.
Let me bring you up to where I am with this mess.
I purchased a Cincinnati Milacron 10VC-2000 vertical machining center. (HUGE!!!) It had been retrofitted with Mitsubishi controls back in 1996. It did not come with any documentation at all! I have down loaded all the manuals from Mitsubishi, including the one you mentioned.(the tool changer is not being used)
When I finally had it set up in my shop it worked fine.
Then, we were working on the Shop electrical one day, and left the power off...for way too long! (weeks) The onboard computer battery went dead, and so went the plc program and all parameter settings. It was not equiped with the eprom card, (M411) but it used a different card (M942) that the plc program was written to. When the power went, so did the program. The guys at Mitsubishi have been a help but they are into the new stuff and as the m330 is now about 10 years old, they have to really stretch to help.
I was thinking if there was someone out there that had a similar system that they would be able to offer up a copy of their current parameters and plc program. And yes it is worth paying for.
I am currently signed up to have a specialist come and reset the controls but even he needs a place to start.
Can you tell me how to enable the PLC. This would be a good step to take. Yes, the screen does come up blank.
Thanks, Hank |
