moldcore is on a distinguished road

Mdlmkr,

DON’T USE IT AND SHUT UP? WHY NOT TRY TO GET IT IMPROVED? I don’t recall saying Surfcam was DOS based, it just looks and acts like it, and hasn’t changed much since they changed to the current interface. What is the mater with having custom tool bars like a CAD program? After 10 years and close to $30, 000 of my own money I should expect things to improve, maybe that’s asking too much from them?

I won’t brag about being an expert with Surfcam, but resent being accused of looking like I don’t know how to use it. I’m sorry if you got that impression. I’ve been machining mold cavities for over 30 years, the last 10 with Surfcam exclusively. There isn’t anything in the program I don’t know about or haven’t tried. I do believe I have some good, sound suggestions to make, but feel stymied by the current situation.

I will continue to return to this forum until I feel my voice is heard, even if it makes some individuals here mad. At the same time I will keep my eyes open for something better.
