I tried to do some paint drawings of it and it kept saying they were too large. I tried to shrink them down but it didn't work, you couldn't make them out. Can anyone suggest a diff media to use then MS Paint?
But I was able to find some example parts, I hope this helps but I still need help in understanding tolerances.
The 1st one is a main body as described above. Provided is a sample, but no recessed hole.
Here are the specs:
6 inches long
1.5 OD
1.2 ID (But could be as large as 1.25, larger is better than smaller here)
Threaded inside for 1/2 inch
The 2nd is a part to screw into it. I have provided a sample as an existing piece.Note the example is not to scale or threaded. (and no holes)But rather to give you a general idea of what it would look like.
Here are the specs:
5 inches long
1.5 OD
1.2 ID
1/8 inch deep grooves spaced 1/4 inch the length
1/2 inch threads on either side(so the grooved section is only 4 inches)
I can send the drawings through email but can't get them to post here. PM me with your email addy if you want to recieve a copy of the drawings.
I hope this helps understand what I'm going for.
Brian
