Having read your last posting, a slight frown crossed my mind.
You describe the printhead depositing the 'ink' using a simillar raster implementation as in the original machine it was removed from. But does this not conflict with the usual cnc machine set up, which essentially moves the 'tool' in a vector mode, with xy values moving the head at the same time.
Am I missing something, eg is there hardware/software mounted on the printhead that performs the last conversion of the necessary bitmap image input into the instructions to the jet nozzles to fire ?
