 2 hp to 1.5 hp motor interchange on vari-speed head?? | |
On a 2 hp series 1 machine...will a 1.5 hp motor directly interchange with the existing motor? If not, what would have to be changed to put the lower hp motor in place of the 2 hp motor?
Also, if I decide to rewind the existing motor, what can I expect to pay? I want to know the approximate motor shop charge, not the price quoted by a machinery service shop. Thanks! |
