Your biggest problem cutting steel isn't the motors it's the stiffness of your machine. You will be cutting at low speeds and feeds. I just recently upgraded my first machine with these motors direct drive on 1/2-10 acme, they are pretty strong on the 17x30 machine with the hobbycnc board. |
