Sort of, I'm getting ready to do another Camsoftcorp retrofit.
I'm using a Galil 1842 motion controller, and it has 8 inputs and 8 outputs available on board, but I need a few more inputs.
The Camsoft Cnc Professional software (not to be confused with another company's product) expects a properly interfaced i/o card, with an 8255 chip (whatever that is). This is why I think building one is out of my league. But the cards I have looked at cost as much as an ATI Radeon 9800, and have less technology, I would think!
