Description:

I have a practically brand new CNC benchtop milling machine. This is a column mill with a Camtronics CNC Controller and Large Stepper motors. The milling machine was purchased new from Wholesale Tools. You can search for ZAY7045M to find the exact details on the machine. This particular model has a table that rotates. I preferred this model since it added some extra weight to the machine. I have all the original items that came with the machine when it was purchased. The machine has less than one hour of runtime on it. It is almost as clean as it was when delivered. The CNC Controller was purchased from Camtronics. It uses Mac 3 CNC control software. The controller uses the Gecko 210 stepper controllers for the large 760oz stepper motors. These large motors were chosen since they can be used to drive the axis directly. I felt this would make a simpler installation. I did the retrofit conversion myself but fell just a little short of completing it. I just don't have the time for the project so my loss if your gain. You can see from the images below how I installed the motors on the X,Y, and Z axis. I added ball screws to the X and Y axis but never added preloaded ball nuts. I found out after finishing the conversion why I had to use preloaded nuts. The table moves when making heavy cuts. I purchased the extra ball nuts and will include them with the sale. I have all the original equipment that came with the milling machine. I would prefer to sell the machine to a local buyer (Buffalo NY). I will give preference to a local buyer.
