CNC Diamond Drag Engraving Bit w/ Floating Head Bit Holder

Our CNC Diamond Drag Engraving bit fits in any 1/2" collet, just like a regular end mill. Instead of cutting material like a normal bit, it allows your CNC machine to create diamond drag engraving on plastic, metal, glass and stone.

Engrave your signature, company logo, or artwork on your parts
Create custom brass name tags for trophies/placks
Permanently Engrave serial numbers and ID information onto products for security
Decorate aluminum, brass, glass, mirrors, granite tile
Score cut lines on plate glass for creating stained glass artwork

Our Diamond Drag Engraver bit can engrave in very precise, permanent lines on all kinds of smooth surfaced materials: plastic, metal, glass, stone, etc... (Engraving rough material may damage the bit.)

The bit is designed to compensate for warped material and tables that are not perfectly flat. The spring loaded "floating head" bit holder automatically regulates pressure on the diamond tip, making it easy for your CNC machine to engrave a solid, uniform line without excessive wear on the bit. Engraving pressure is adjustable to match the hardness of the material you are working on.

Package includes detailed instructions for use along with floating head bit holder and diamond engraving tip. (Diamond tip replacements can be purchased at low cost through our website.)
