Description:

This is a beautiful machine, in perfect condition. I bought it new 14 months ago, and it has less than 150 hours of actual use (I have to move, and my new place has no space). This is one of the few CNC mills I’ve ever seen that actually uses glass-scale linear encoders on all 3 axes for position control (typically, CNC mills just use rotary encoders on the servo motors, and the accuracy is therefore no better than that of the ballscrews). Additionally, this machine can automatically recover from a power loss without loss of the established “zero” reference points. The CNC package is Millpower by Accurite, built in the USA; features a color flat panel monitor and full conversational programming; the control also has the ability to run standard G-code, and automatically generate toolpaths from DXF files, and perform engraving. The machine is equipped with a fully automatic lube system, triggered by hours of operation; coolant system: power draw-bar system; and “frequency drive” inverter (so spindle speeds are controlled electronically – no belts or plastic discs, etc.) It runs on either 220 single-phase or 220 triple-phase, so no phase converter is required to run it on your house 220 VAC (can also be wired to run on 440, for better efficiency). The sale also includes a 6-inch Kurt vise and full set of R-8 collets, both also 14 months old.
