$49.00 $6.50 Excellent
Description:

The Motor Mount System with Isolator provides a fixed endpoint for a leadscrew or shaft plus a jaw-type coupler that isolates your motor from damage due to radial and thrust loads, and vibration.

Product contains the following components that allow you to properly mount a leadscrew or shaft and to couple it to your NEMA 23 motor:

  • Bearing Plate - captures/retains a ball bearing which would be pressed onto the leadscrew or shaft. Bearing is .500 ID. We recommend pressing this bearing onto a shaft with .501" OD (larger shaft may be turned to fit). It is not recommended for use with .500" or smaller shafts. We can custom build plates with smaller bearings for the same price. Contact us at chris@cjamasterworks.com or see our website at www.cjamasterworks.com. Please allow additional time for manufacturing of custom plates.

  • Motor Mount Plate - allows mounting of NEMA 23 Motors with a 1.500" motor shoulder. Fits securely on motor shoulder to ensure proper alignment.

  • Lovejoy Jaw-Type Coupler with Buna-N Spider - isolates the motor from radial and thrust loads as well as vibration when kit is used as recommended. Kit contains 1 hub with 1/2" ID for leadscrew or shaft, 1 hub of 1/4" ID (for motor shaft), and one Buna-N spider. Hubs may be substituted for hubs with other inner diameters. Hubs must be of Lovejoy L050 type. Polyurethane spiders available for additional cost.

Price includes 1 kit consisting of the items in the list above. Additional items may be shown in images for demonstration purposes. If you need a leadscrew or shaft turned to fit your application, you can contact us (chris@cjamasterworks.com) about ordering leadscrews and shafts with turned ends, machined flats, pressed bearings, and through holes to fit your application, or visit our website at www.cjamasterworks.com

This motor mount system requires that a leadscrew or shaft be turned to proper OD for the proper length to fit ball bearing and coupler. Shaft should be turned down to .501" OD for a press fit with ball bearing. Not recommended for use as a floating shaft mount.
