Description:

I'm looking to get rid of my first homemade CNC cnc machine.  Since I finished my larger one I really don't use it anymore and want the space back.

http://www.cnczone.com/forums/cnc_wood_router_project_log/30597-what_will_i_make_popular.html#post243217

I have the shipping very high because I'd really like it to be a local pickup, I don't want to crate it and ship it.  I'm in Vancouver Washington.

Included in the thing is mounts for my porter cable router, 3 300oz/in Nema 24 motors and a mostly working HobbyCNC controller with a home built power supply.   See my build log for more details than you could ever find in an ad.  The Router, and computer shown in the photo are not for sale.  If you have a different router I'll cut you some mounts for it if you provide the material...

If nothing else is salvagable, the motors are probably worth $50.

Let me eknow if you have any questions.

Hello, Have you still got your first machine? I'm getting really excited about my first build but it makes a whole lot more sense for me to learn on your machine first. Is the machine still intact as shown in the pic? (except for router+computer) Have you built your second machine? Unfortunately, I live in Daytona Beach, FL so $200 is quite reasonable for crating and shipping.

Thank You

Hi GitItDone:

The Machine is as shown and I'll have to take it apart some to ship it.. I don't think that it will fit as is in a crate. It would also cost too much in a big crate...

If I have to go over the $200 (you can't live any further away) will you cover the difference? I really don't know yet if the cost is real or not and some of the parts are quite heavy. I did not want to sell and have to ship but I will if we cover shipping.. It would be nice to get the machine to someone that will use it.

What I did find was that having a machine to use (even a first cut home made one) was a huge help when I built my second machine

There is lots of the first machine in the build log of my second...

Hi Mil, no prob covering the shipping cost. If you can give me an estimate on weight and box dimensions, I will be glad to research costs on my end. I sell cabinets online and ship all over the country so I deal with a few of the LTL Carriers on a regular basis.

Thank You

Hey Milhead! I'm still here but I never heard back from you on the shipping. Looks like it would take quite a bit more than $200 to ship???

Hi GititDone;

ok, I was looking for an email in my personal acct.. then had a computer failure. I need to get it apart and weighed... This is a rotten way to have a discussion, reply to me at milhead@gmail.com and I'll be way more responsive.

The base is the only really big part and it does not come apart.. I can disassemble and remove the gantry and z-axis..

The heaviest part will be the two big rails that the gantry rides on.

Anyway, I'll take it apart this week and send some photos, send your email and I'll update you!
