new, fast, 4x8 router- best bang for the buck

Asking Price Shipping Amount Condition
$14,500.00 None Excellent
Description:

New, never run, 4'x8' CNC router. Very powerful, fast, smooth, and rigid.

800 ipm feed
24,000 RPM water cooled router spindle (very quiet)

240v single phase for both machine and spindle
Very heavy duty- smooth, accurate and repeatable

I sold my last CNC router from my router business, purchased this faster new machine, set it up, and then changed businesses. I never even cut with this machine, in fact the spindle hasn't even been turned on yet because I don't have the coolant hooked up and don't want to run the spindle without coolant. The machine has always been stored inside dry and is in absolutely new condition.

I purchased the machine from David Slowinski from Tiger Tec CNC in about 2009. David is a math genius (literally- look him up on wikipedia) and got into woodworking and then into CNC at his shop in Wisconsin. He’s has a very nice Chinese wife and early on spent a considerable amount of time traveling to China and visiting factories and finding the best quality CNC machines.  Now he’s a part owner of the factory and ensures that only the best quality product is manufactured.

Although the machine is made in China, many of the components come from other countries like Germany. Let me tell you, after having owned a CNC router business since the 90s David is right, this machine is extremely high quality for the money. Plus David is so smart that he makes the machine easy to use and provides great customer support.

Visit www.tigerteccnc.com and you can see the machines David offers.  This machine sells for over $20k so my price is a good value.  Plus if you live in the NW you can save on shipping by picking it up yourself.

I spoke with David and there are over 100 of these machines now in the US working away and they are very strong with few problems.  One owner started with one and now has six of them.  David says it's pretty typical for someone to buy one of these as a hobby machine and then before they know it they've paid for the machine and have a successful business.  Like the oldest profession in the world... first you do it for fun, then for friends, then for money

Own a sign, cabinet or woodworking business? This router will pay for itself in about a month if you have any kind of volume. Hobby woodworker? Once you start using CNC you'll be so spoiled that you won't want to get out your other tools again

(In the picture of the spindle, the brown isn't rust- it's packing grease. I haven't even cleaned the router yet since the grease protects the components.)
