The machine is a CNC 1988 Tape Cut W-2.  19.5 x 13.65 travel, 750lb work piece.  The machine has 2810 hours, not 28,100.  I can send you a link that will take you to our Sony photo hosting website where you can view 100 large photos.

Being as the machine is truly a baby with those limited hours, and it is a very useful size of 19.5 x 13.65” I am inclined to put a higher asking price.

However, the rear panel was bumped with the forklift during unloading, which will require a new condenser housing, if not a complete condenser unit.  Nothing inside the EDM was affected as shown by the panel indent clearing the electronics on the swinging door.  In addition, the unit was depowered 6 months ago in March and spent a night outside waiting for our truck, as evident by the surface rust in the feet cups.  This is everything we know about the unit- good and bad.

Therefore, my asking price is a practical and reasonable $6000.  That includes delivery within 200 miles of central Connecticut, or freight terminal dropoff.

There are a very many of these machines out there, mostly across the pond, and mostly with ten times the amount of hours, and not serviced by an aerospace company.  The market for parts or sale abroad is promising, however, we do not sell  to foreign markets.   Please consider this offer, I have not tried very hard to sell this EDM yet, we like to move product to whoever is first interested with reasonable offers.
