Description:

I have decdided that I want to  purchase a commercial machining center for my shop. This RF45 lathemaster cnc milling machine has been a year and a half long endeavor/build  and it has served me well and taught me much and made me some decent money. It is working well and has a complete ballscrew conversion with 3/4x.2 double nutted setups on Y and Z axes and a 5/8 double nutted setup on the X axis all for near zero backlash. It has a custom belt drive conversion setup with 3phase motor and infinitely variable speed from 100 to 6500rpm. It has two spindle speeds with a double tier vee belt.  It has spindle reversing and all under mach3 control. The machine is in a complete full flood enclosure made from furniture grade plywood sealed with fiberglass and painted with some epoxy enamel and it has a plexiglass upper removeable enclosure for easy cleaning. I even have some touch up paint for it.  This machine runs completely off of 220v single phase and 110v single phase for the controller/computer. It comes ready to run with a licensed copy of mach 3 mill and a flatscreen monitor, keyboard, mouse, computer etc. IF I get my asking price  I will include all of my Tormach Toolholders including the Tension and compression tapping head and collets. This includes a dozen ER20 collet holders, four different drill chucks, four setscrew holders, a boring head adapter, a TTS zero set dial indicator holder, around 15 ER20 collets,a few r8 collets and toolholders and even a decent 6" kurt clone vise with rotary base as well as a few other tools. The machine has beautiful  custom made stainless steel chip guards and runs with powerful 1125 oz inch servo motors on Gecko G320 servo drives. The controller is setup for a fourth axis and has raised heat sink mounts and is ready to be wired up for it  and I will include a Gecko G320 for that axis.  This machine has worked very well for me and has the ability to perform semi-rigid tapping with a the Tormach tension/compression tapping head  and cuts aluminum and steel with ease. It goes thru aluminum like a buzzsaw for a benchtop machine.  This machine also sports the larger 12" Industrial hobbies style head and Z slide so it is considerably more rigid than the current RF45's on the market.  The machine is very reliable and I have spent a lot of time working out any bugs with the controller and the machine itself. I am currently using it to do a couple contract parts runs and once they are finished it will be ready to go to it's new owner. It would be VERY difficult to reacreate this machine for this money if you value your time at all. It is  powerful, repeatable, and accurate and makes for a wonderful garage shop machine. I have  decided that I want a commercial machining center  with a toolchanger and larger travels, etc.  I am working on a triple stack air cylinder for  this machine to create a power drawbar and it is not finished just yet but I will include all of it's parts with the deal as well as a pneumatic valve for it.  I will really miss this machine but where I am going it just cannot follow. If you are SERIOUSLY interested in seeing this machine you can come by and run it and hear it work anytime. I can be reached at 865-363-9218 machine is located in East Tennessee. If you are local I will even show you how to use it a little bit. Here is a link to some videos I made of this machine and it is about as good a representation as I can muster here. Asking $6000.00 or best REASONABLE offer,  No disappointments... peace
