Description: This is a 2.0HP 3-phase input, 3-phase output VFD, which I got to run my mill, but I don't have 3-phase power at the shop, so it has been sitting around unused for a while, and it's time I sell it. Full details here... http://www.automationdirect.com/adc/..._VAC)/GS1-22P0

Item is in Florida. I can ship anywhere, but shipping rates will depend on your location.

chapter 2 page 6 of the manual shows you can put 230v single phase power to this unit. I have done this many times with Auto.Direct freque drives, but i normally buy the next size bigger unit, for example, if i have a 2 hp motor and want to run single phase into the freque drive, i buy a 3hp freque drive. Always oversize to the next bigger drive, when you do this. I believe your 2 hp drive will run a 1 hp motor and maybe a 1-1/2hp motor with single phase power.

Are you sure that *all* can do this? The manual covers 4 different models, and page 1-5 shows that the three smaller models can handle single or three-phase input, but this model (the highest power model, listed on the right) only does 3-phase input. The product title at the link I posted previously also states "three-phase input only".

<br>

It would be great if I could use 1-phase with this, but I don't want to try it unless I feel absolutely certain about this. I planned on getting a 1.5hp, 3-phase motor to use with this, as this will output 3-phase.

Thanks, Neil.
