Renishaw MP-700 probe system. This includes TWO (2) probes, plus the OMI-SSR controller, misc parts/tooling, probe tips, a Brand New Renishaw CAT40 special toolholder for the probe ($400 from Renishaw) and free info/advice for setup.

I bought this probe system for a brand new Sharp SV-2412 I had in my shop before I closed it a few months ago. The probes were only used a few times. One of them I believe is new, the other used. Both of them, when I bought them, I sent them in to Renishaw and had them do a complete checkup and I have the paperwork for this showing that both are in excellent operating condition. The OMI-SSR is originally designed for the Haas machines, but it does not have the Haas wiring connector on the end as I had to alter it to fit the plug ports on my Sharp.

If you have some other brand of machine, I can give you wiring diagram and basic help to set these up for your requirements. It is MUCH easier than Renishaw makes it out to be - there are only five wires that need to be attached to your machine - Renishaw charges thousands of dollars for this - I can help you do it for free.

There are a couple of long probe tips (4" ceramic and steel) and a few mini ones (less than an inch). There are quite a few spare parts as well. EVERYTHING is here to hook up a probe system to your machine, and because there are TWO probes included, if you ever crash one, you will automatically have a spare.

I spent more than $5000 to get and test all this stuff out. I will take the best offer I can get over $2500.

Do you still have the Kurt ML35 vises for sale?

If they are still for sale I would be interested in buying them if they are what I think they are.

I don't know much about those except I've used other types of cheaper style 2 part vises.

The pictures and schematics from the links show the back stop part I think?

But what about the front part of the vise? Are there front parts with the locking mechanism and jaws?

Or am I missing something obvious (but not obvious to me)?

If they do come with front parts do you have a picture you could send of the front part?
